Yousef Khayat

Overview

Yousef Khayat has spread hatred of Israel and demonized Israel on Twitter.

Khayat is affiliated with the Palestine Children’s Relief Fund (PCRF). The PCRF has been associated financially with The Holy Land Foundation for Relief and Development, Global Relief Foundation and The International Relief Organization – all of which were closed down by the United States government for funneling donations to terrorist organizations.

In the summer of 2016, Khayat tweeted that he would be attending Cleveland State University (CSU) the following year. As of August 31, 2017, Khayat’s Twitter feed indicated that he was attending college between November of 2016 and May of 2017.

Khayat lives in Avon, Ohio.

Demonizing Israel

On August 26, 2017, Khayat retweeted a tweet of an interview by George Galloway where Galloway referred to Israel as “a gangster terrorist state” [1:10]. Galloway  also accused Israel of keeping “the arabs and the Muslims at each other’s throats ...” [1:32]

Galloway’s anti-Zionist rhetoric has been condemned as anti-Semitic on numerous occasions. In 2013, Galloway walked out of an Oxford debate, saying “I don’t recognize Israel and refuse to debate with Israelis” when he discovered one of the participating students was an Israeli citizen. In 2014, Galloway declared his constituency of Bradford an “Israel-free-zone.”

On July 15, 2017, Khayat retweeted a misleading graphic that presented lands once controlled by Britain, Egypt and Jordan as autonomous “Palestinian land” purportedly stolen by Israel.

The maps claim that lands once controlled by Britain, Egypt and Jordan as autonomous “Palestinian land” were purportedly stolen by Israel. In February 2016, publisher McGraw-Hill Education recalled copies of a college textbook containing the fraudulent maps. In October 2015, American cable news network MSNBC apologized for airing a similar series of maps and retracted them.

On May 18, 2017, Khayat tweeted: “This could be split in half if America would stop funding Israel and other terrorist countries 😤,” in response to the tweet: “Today, the student debt crisis reached $1,457,460,238,256.”

On June 24, 2015, Khayat tweeted: “zionists are baby killers.”
