Yasmeen Sheikah

Yasmeen Sheikah has expressed violent hatred of Zionists, equated Israeli Jews with Nazis and spread hatred of Israel on Twitter. 

In 2014 and 2015, Sheikah was affiliated with the Muslim Students Association (MSA). 

As of June 2019, Sheikah’s LinkedIn page said she was a student at Columbia College Chicago (CCC) studying Broadcast Journalism, slated to graduate in 2020. Her LinkedIn page also said she was a student at Moraine Valley Community College (MVCC) from 2016-2018.

As of the same date, Sheikah’s LinkedIn page said she was a Freelance Journalist at 22nd Century Media LLC.  

Violent Hatred of Zionists

On July 6, 2014, during Israel’s Operation Protective Edge (OPE), Sheikah tweeted: “I wanna take a rock and bash it into a Zionists head. I will gladly let them cut me if I can do that to thousands.”

Israel commenced Operation Protective Edge (OPE) in July 2014, to stop rocket fire targeting Israeli civilians and to destroy Hamas attack tunnels.  

On July 13, 2014, Sheikah tweeted: “Zionists can be compared to s**t bags. Yano? Bags of s**t. They can because s**t is also unwanted waste.”

On July 17, 2014, Sheikah tweeted: “Zionists are monsters.”

On July 24, 2014, Sheikah tweeted: “Zionists make my blood boil 😡😡😡”

On the same day, Sheikah tweeted: “#FreeIsrael from what? They are free! They can flee! Don't you see? No Zionist is a human being! #ISupportGaza #FreePalestine.”

On July 25, 2014, Sheikah tweeted: “It's safe to say that Zionists are like Mosquitos to Palestinians, they love taking their blood. #FreePalestine #FreeGaza #SupportGaza.”

On the same day, Sheikah tweeted: “Oh Allah please forgive me for speaking falsely to Zionists today theyre not human. Please for give my brothers and sisters for the same.inA”

Also on July 25, 2014, Sheikah tweeted: “@KudosSabreen this is what Zionists do to Sabreen…” The tweet featured a screenshot of a thread of text messages that read: “Can this stupid how that I want to hit with a bat still see this if I blocked her… I want to spill bleach on her… it that to much… How about boiling hot water… Or freezing cold water… Or just hit her with a pan…”

On July 31, 2014, Sheikah tweeted: “Zionists are a joke. They have no meaning no souls no feelings. They're a joke! #FreePalestine.”

Sheikah also tweeted that day: “Wanna hear another joke? Zionists are peaceful people!!! 😂😂😂” as well as: “Wanna hear a joke? Zionists have souls! 😂👌”

On October 4, 2015, Sheikah tweeted: “If you're a Zionist, do yourself a favor....DIE.”

In October 2015, there was an upsurge in violence across Israel incited by Palestinian political and religious leaders. The wave of stabbings, known as the “Knife Intifada,” was characterized by young Palestinians throughout the country stabbing and attempting to stab Israeli civilians.

On August 29, 2015, Sheikah tweeted: “I hope all zionists burn in hell, I can't look at videos of my people being tortured any more....”

On February 22, 2015, Sheikah tweeted: “I HATE ZIONISTS OMGGGGGGG”

On May 23, 2016, Sheikah tweeted: “Lol I hate ‘Israelis’ don't even try to do the whole ‘coexist’ crap on me either, I hate them with a burning passion.”

On February 16, 2017, in response to a tweet by CNN that read: “President Trump: Palestinians have to ‘get rid of some of that hate that they're taught from a very young age’” Sheikah tweeted: “I'm Palestinian, I not only hate ‘Israel’ I also hate your sorry a** oops.”

Equating Israeli Jews with Nazis

On July 2, 2014, Sheikah tweeted: “You think after the holocaust people would try to make themselves good by treating others with respect instead of repeating what happened.”

On July 17, 2014, Sheikah tweeted: “The Jews were the victims in WWII. Now they are the bullies of what will soon be known as WWIII. #FreePalestine.”

On August 4, 2014, Sheikah tweeted: “AMERICA SENDS 3 BILLION DOLLARS A YEAR TO HELP ISRAEL FUND A GENOCIDE& THEY'RE HIDING IT FROM THE PEOPLE #S.” 

Spreading Hatred of Israel

On January 5, 2018. Sheikah tweeted: “I am also DTF D- down T- to F- free Palestine from the mistreatment and genocide caused by Zionism and a land of make believe that is ‘Israel.’”

On December 28, 2017, Sheikah tweeted: “Omg I’d be so offended if someone called me Israel and then had the nerve to say ‘like in the Middle East?’ Oooo hell no.”

On December 6, 2017, Sheikah tweeted: “@benshapiro I’m Palestinian, f**k you. You’re a stupid little b**ch who pretends to know the truth. Kal “I had to have soldiers escort me in and out of Jerusalem because I was in so much danger!” F**k you you stupid b**ch.”

On July 16, 2017, Sheikah tweeted: “You're just f**king stupid if you support ‘Israel.’”

On March 21, 2016, Sheikah tweeted: “@yem_really if you think ‘Israel’ has a legitimate cultural background unfollow me.”

On January 22, 2015, Sheikah tweeted a photo of Miss Universe Israel wearing a read dress and wrote: “‘@DarthVenn: Miss Universe Israel Evening Gown Competition’ used red to rep. the amount of blood shed they caused.”

On January 21, 2015, Sheikah tweeted: “#Israel is the biggest joke garbage crap stupid low lives dirt Khara [S**t] pieces of friken nothing that were ever to walk this Earth.”

On July 17, 2014, during Israel’s Operation Protective Edge (OPE), Sheikah tweeted: “@Celestedabestt that Palestine deserves to be free ad Israel is blinding the media if what's truly going on by saying their the victims.”

Also on July 17, 2014, Sheikah tweeted: “@Celestedabestt actually, the Jews truly don't believe in a holy land. Generations change so does their religion.”

On July 10, 2014, Sheikah tweeted: “‘@Israel: Israeli surgeons continue their fight to #save lives of Palestinian #children… only to murder them after.”

MSA

The MSA was  established by members of the Muslim Brotherhood in January 1963 at the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign, with the goal of "spreading Islam as students in North America." A 2004 FBI investigation uncovered an internal Muslim Brotherhood document in which a brotherhood leader identified the MSA as "one of our organizations." 

The MSA reportedly has “nearly 600 chapters” located in the United States and Canada, and is “the most visible and influential Islamic student organization in North America,” boasting conferences, special events, publications, websites and other activities.

The organization includes a number of previous chapter presidents with explicit links to terrorist groups. Included are al-Qaeda cleric Anwar al-Awlaki (Colorado State University), Somali al-Shabaab militant leader Omar Shafik Hammami (University of South Alabama) and Pakistani Taliban recruiter Ramy Zamzam of the MSA's Washington, D.C. council.
