Sara Darwish-Khalil

Overview

Sara Darwish Khalil has spread anti-Semitism, expressed support for terror and promoted hatred of Zionists and Israel.

As of July 2022, Khalil’s TikTok indicated her family business was called Natural Paradise Landscape, which was reportedly located in New Jersey.

As of August 2023, Khalil’s Facebook said she studied at Montclair State University (Montclair State) and at the University of South Florida (USF). Khalil’s WayUp page said she studied Biomedical Science at USF. 


Also as of August 2023, Khalil’s Twitter said she was located in “New Jersey, USA.”

As of the same date, Darwish Khalil went by the username “Sara Khalil” and used the handle “@saradarwish17” on Twitter. She also went by the username “Sara Darwish-Khalil” and the handle “@sara.darwish.756” on Facebook. 

Anti-Semitism

On September 13, 2015, Khalil tweeted: “Allah yikta3 il yahood 😤 [May Allah destroy the Jews].”

Darwin retweeted a February 21, 2016 tweet that featured a photo of a full garbage bag and the word: “Yahood [Jews].”

On October 11, 2015, Khalil tweeted: “Wake up people and realize that history is being repeated again!! 😔 Zionist=Nazi.” Her tweet featured a photo of a protester holding a sign that read: “The NAZIS ARE Still Around, they Call Themselves ZIONISTS NOW.”

The International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance (IHRA) highlights as one possible contemporary example of anti-Semitism: “Drawing comparisons of contemporary Israeli policy to that of the Nazis.” The U.S. State Department adopted the IHRA’s working definition of anti-Semitism in 2016. Over 40 countries have adopted the definition as well.


On January 20, 2016, Khalil tweeted: “Palestine flag should be at the top and that s**tty Jew flag should be on the bottom.” Darwish’s tweet featured a short video of a Palestinian flag taped to a wall, then panned to an Israeli flag displayed among other flags along the top of the wall. 

On May 19, 2016, Khalil tweeted: “...your tax money goes to the yahood [Jews] so hush!”

Khalil retweeted a July 29, 2017 tweet that said: “Israel is doing to Palestinians what Hitler did to Jewish people.”

Terror Support (Knife Intifada)

On October 10, 2015, during the “Knife Intifada,” Khalil tweeted: “We don't love war Israel, we hate it! But when you start it, we end it. When you bring it, we fight it ♥️💚.”


In October 2015, there was an upsurge in violence across Israel incited by Palestinian political and religious leaders. The wave of stabbings, known as the “Knife Intifada,” was characterized by young Palestinians throughout the country stabbing and attempting to stab Israeli civilians.


On June 27, 2020, Khalil shared on Facebook a post that referred to Ahmad Erakat as “a beautiful young man” who was shot multiple times by “Israeli cowards.” 

Ahmad Erekat [Ahmad Moustafa Erekat; Ahmed Erakat] was killed by Israeli security forces after he accelerated and rammed his car into soldiers at a checkpoint. One female soldier was injured. The incident was captured on video.  

Hatred of Israel and Zionists

On October 6, 2015, Khalil tweeted: “Mood 💩” in response to a photo of a naked boy urinating on an Israeli flag. 

On October 11, 2015, Khalil tweeted: “F**K ZIONISTS!!! 😡😡😡.” 

Zionism is the belief that Jews have the right to self-determination in their own national home, and the right to develop their national culture.


On November 28, 2015, Khalil tweeted: “We will continue to expose Zionists!” The tweet featured an image with a caption that read: “Israel meets with Google, YouTube CEO To Censor Footage From Palestine.”

That week, then-Israeli Deputy Foreign Minister Tzipi Hotovley reportedly met with Google and pressed it to “block videos that promoted violence against Israelis and could indoctrinate Palestinian children.” 

On March 22, 2016, Khalil tweeted: “I like that kid 😄” in response to a photo of a person holding an Israeli flag, and a child standing next to him with a sign that read: “F**k this guy.” 

On March 31, 2016, Khalil tweeted: “👊🏻” along with an image of the Israeli flag with the caption: “ISRAEL HAS NO HISTORY ONLY A CRIMINAL RECORD.”

Khalil retweeted an August 27, 2016 tweet that said: “I hope Allah puts harambe in charge of throwing Zionists into jahanam [hell].”


In May 2016, a gorilla named Harambe was killed after a three-year-old boy climbed into his enclosure at the Cincinnati Zoo. Harambe became the subject of a number of viral memes after his death.
