Rana Nabulsi [Rana Akram Nabulsi] has expressed support for a terrorist and spread hatred of Israel on Twitter.As of October 2020, Nabulsi’s LinkedIn page said she was a Pharmacy Technician at Walgreens and a student at the University of California, Irvine (UC Irvine), majoring in Biology/Biological Sciences, from “2020-2022.”
Nabulsi’s LinkedIn page also said she received an “Associate’s degree in Biology/Biological” at Santiago Canyon College (SCC), from “2018 - 2020.”
As of the same date, Nabulsi wrote on her LinkedIn page that she was a “Pharmacy Technician/Assistant” at the U.S. Career Institute, which issued Nabulsi a Pharmacy Technician license on “Oct 2020” with “No Expiration Date.”
In October 2020, Nabulsi’s LinkedIn page also said she was a Pharmacy Technician with ASHP, “Issued Oct 2020 ᐧNo Expiration Date.”
Nabulsi was issued an intern pharmacist license [license number: INT 50778] on April 5, 2023, due to expire on June 30, 2027.
In September 2020, Nabulsi’s LinkedIn page said that she was a “member” of the Palestinian Youth Movement (PYM) from “August 2020 - Present” and a Youth Board Member of the “ISLAMIC CENTER OF YORBA LINDA” from “Jan 2020 - Present.”
In July 2020, Nabulsi’s Facebook and LinkedIn pages said she lived in Orange County, California.
As of October 2020, Nabulsi used the alias lulunabbbb on Twitter.
Supporting a Terrorist
On September 23, 2020, Nabulsi tweeted: “I just wanted to hear Leila Khaled speak man.” Nabulsi’s tweet referred to Palestinian terrorist Leila Khaled being banned from speaking at events streamed via major social media platforms.Khaled is a leader of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP) and participated in the hijacking of TWA Flight 840 in 1969 and El Al Flight 219 in 1970. As of 2017, Khaled was a member of PFLP's Political Bureau.
Khaled has said that the second intifada failed because it was not violent enough, advocated for the use of children in terror activities and compared Zionists to Nazis.
The PFLP claimed credit for the 2014 Har Nof Massacre where six people were murdered during morning prayers in a Jerusalem synagogue. The PFLP also claimed credit for the 2001 assassination of the Israeli tourism minister.
On September 23, 2020, Nabulsi also tweeted: “And now YouTube too. Zionist a**es.”
Nabulsi’s tweet was in response to a tweet that read: “Can’t believe I was gonna see Leila Khaled today and @zoom ruined it.”
That same day, Nabulsi tweeted: “Imagine being such a powerful Palestinian revolutionary that the webinar you’re speaking on gets shut down on Zoom, YouTube, and Facebook.”
Nabulsi retweeted a September 23, 2020 tweet that read: “IM SO ANGRYYYY LEILA KHALED IM SO SORRY.”

GUPS’s tweet linked to a petition started by Wellesley Students for Justice in Palestine (SJP) in support of Khaled that said: “Leila Khaled is a powerful, inspiring figure. She’s more than just a freedom fighter. Leila is a mother, a wife, and a national icon.”
The petition concluded saying: “SIGN BELOW TO SUPPORT ACADEMIC FREEDOM ON PALESTINE AND LEILA KHALED'S ROLE IN MARKING PALESTINIAN HISTORY AND LIBERATION.”
Spreading Hatred of Israel
On July 1, 2020, Nabulsi tweeted: “This is the epitome of performative activism. If you truly stand for BLM and social justice, you’d stop selling your products in occupied Palestinian territory & stop profiting off Israeli apartheid. Black & Palestinian liberation go hand in hand, they’re not mutually exclusive.”Nabulsi’s tweet featured a tweet by Ben and Jerry’s that read: “We’re calling for an end to unequal, racist enforcement of social distancing policies. Learn more and take action here: https://benjerrys.co/2YAmxJh.”
On June 26, 2020, Nabulsi tweeted: “Israel be like ‘I know a spot’ and then take Palestine’s.”
On May 26, 2020, Nabulsi tweeted: “So Palestinians are murdered, oppressed, and have their homes taken away on the daily........ and you want us to not show pride and love for our country among all that? GIRL GET LOST. I will yell that I’m Palestinian to a person I’ve just met and I have no shame in it.
.”On May 25, 2020, Nabulsi tweeted: “Aww they took a break from killing Palestinians to wish us a happy Eid. So sweet!”
Nabulsi’s tweet included a tweet by the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) with a video wishing Muslim soldiers in the IDF a “happy and healthy Eid... ”
On May 15, 2020, Nabulsi tweeted: “Surreal to think it’s been 72 years since al Nakba. 72 years of apartheid, illegal settlement, genocide, and not being allowed back in their home. 72 years that Palestinians have been holding their keys waiting to return. #NakbaDay.”
The term “Nakba” is generally translated as “catastrophe” in Arabic, referring to the outcome of the 1948 Arab-Israeli War. It is a term used to delegitimize the creation of the State of Israel by drawing a comparison to the Holocaust, known in Hebrew as the Shoah, meaning “catastrophe.”
Nabusi retweeted an October 8, 2020 tweet, that promoted the Al-Durah Hoax.
The Al-Durah hoax is an iconic piece of anti-Israel propaganda, fabricated on September 30, 2000 at the start of the Second Intifada by a France 2 reporter.
