Qusai Alqatawni

Overview

Qusai Alqatawni has spread anti-Semitism and hatred of Israel on Twitter. 

As of October 2019, Alqatawni’s LinkedIn page said he was a graphic designer at Electronic Arts (EA), since April 2010. His LinkedIn also said that he studied at the University of North Carolina at Wilmington (UNCW) and Salem Community College (SCC). 

As of October 2019, Alqatawni’s Facebook page said he studied “Website logo Design advertising” at Wilmington University (WilmU). Alqatawni indicated on Facebook and Twitter that he graduated in May 2017.

As of October 2019, Alqatawni used the alias invincibleArab on Twitter, Instagram and Youtube.

Anti-Semitism

On September 4, 2017, Alqatawni tweeted: “I believe everyone can change for the better bes el yahood [but the Jews], yel3an abuhom 3ars [may their fathers be cursed]. #VeryNice.”

On September 16, 2016, Alqatawni tweeted: “Beside el Yahood [the Jews] yel3an abuhom [may He curse their fathers] they were born with evil hearts, manayak wa7ed wara wa7ed [faggot one behind the other].” 

On March 17, 2013, Alqatawni tweeted: “talk is cheap, its like you grew up in a jewish home.”

Spreading Hatred of Israel

On September 14, 2018, in response to a tweet that featured a photo of a bag of garbage and read: “What do you call this in your country? ” Alqatawni tweeted: “Israel.” 

On August 8, 2014, Alqatawni tweeted: “Israel is a country made up of lies and bulls**t, everything about it and its people.”

On the same day, Alqatawni tweeted: “And they say that hamas is using Palestine's as shields, ya alllah neffesy atif fee wjahko, ya wlad el kalb [oh allah I wish to spit in their faces, you sons of dogs].”

Throughout the summer of 2014 — during Operation Protective Edge (OPE) — Hamas's deployment of human shields was extensively documented and publicized. Hamas encouraged Gazans to act as human shields to frustrate Israeli efforts to avoid civilian casualties in Gaza. 

On August 4, 2014, Alqatawni tweeted: “But Israel owns america lol, incase y'all didn't know.”
