Overview
Owen Benjamin has spread Coronavirus anti-Semitism as well as general anti-Semitism, anti-Jewish conspiracy theories and racism.In November 2019, Benjamin described himself as a “stand up comedian and actor” on his YouTube page. In December 2019, YouTube deleted Benjamin's official channel due to a "violation of YouTube's terms of service."
Benjamin graduated from the State University of New York College at Plattsburgh (SUNY Plattsburgh), also known as Plattsburgh State College, in 2002.
In December 2019, Benjamin was reportedly located in Oswego, New York.
Coronavirus Anti-Semitism
On April 11, 2020, during the deadly Coronavirus pandemic, Benjamin shared a video on his dlive.tv channel where he said [00:10:26]: “I’m finally going to wear my Covid-19 mask.”Benjamin then donned [00:10:30] a mask depicting an Orthodox Jew with a skull cap [00:23:30]. The mask was called the Mask of the Grabbler.
A Grabbler is a fictional creature defined as “a Greasy, Hook-Nosed Race Of Creatures, with oily black hair. Greedy little monsters that want to grabble up all the money.”
Benjamin then played piano wearing the mask while singing a song mocking [00:23:30] the Jewish practice of circumcision. Benjamin removed the mask and yelled [00:18:32]: “Cut off the tip of your d**k and wear a mask!”
On April 6, 2020, a Twitter user uploaded video footage of Benjamin singing a parody version of the song “Where everybody knows your name,” by Gary Portnoy.
Benjamin changed [00:00:03] the lyrics of the song to: “Making your way with Coronatoday, definitely will not kill you. Corona was a stupid thing, invented by Masons & Jews. I bet they are all gay. And the sniffles will make you say. I'm diagnosed with coronu [sic]. Because I always believe the Jews.”
The lyrics continued [00:00:36]: “They never have any agendas, the financial system looks fine.I don't care that the Jews view me as swine. Swine!”
On March 29, 2020, Benjamin shared a meme on Instagram that referred to the Coronavirus as the “Holocaugh” and suggested that it was a “Planned-demic.”
On March 20, 2020, Benjamin shared a screenshot on Instagram of a tweet by the Consul General of Israel in New York, Dani Dayan, that read: “Israel pharma giant Teva will donate 6 million tablets by March 31, 10 million within a month, of hydroxychloroquine sulfate for potential #COVID19 use to US hospitals.”
Hydroxychloroquine Sulfate is a medication used to treat malaria. In March 2020, during the global Coronavirus pandemic, it was studied as an experimental treatment for Covid-19.
Benjamin commented: “If you dont speak grabbler, this translates to 9 pills that you definitely shouldn't take. They really can't help themselves.”
Anti-Semitism
On June 17, 2025, Benjamin posted on X: “I support thr government of Israel, but I’m against all individual Jewish people.”
then-United States President Donald Trump.
A headline above the cartoon read: “NEW YORK TIMES ENDS POLITICAL CARTOONS AFTER ANTISEMITISM ROW.” Benjamin commented: “This decision just backfired. Millions of people just watched Jews show their power and the fact they have less tolerance for American freedom than Muslims…”
On June 10, 2019, Benjamin shared on Instagram a photo of Jewish conservative political commentator, Ben Shapiro and wrote: “Product of incest.”
Benjamin continued: “When your people think you are so special that you inbreed for thousands of years, you end up: 1 short 2 sociopathic 3 nasally4 with the desire to bite baby dicks5 promo code obsessed6 narrow eyes 7 obsession with shiny metal8 genitalia challenges9 obsessed with electric guitar riffs 10 gay.”
On May 11, 2019, Benjamin shared on Instagram a graphic featuring a still shot from the iconic Christmas movie: “It’s a Wonderful Life.” The graphic showed the movie’s main character with his wife and daughter beside a Christmas tree.
The still shot is from the climactic scene where the daughter says [00:01:34]: “Look, Daddy. Teacher says, every time a bell rings, an angel gets his wings.”
The graphic Benjamin shared was captioned: “LOOK DADDY, TEACHER SAYS...EVERY TIME YOU WATCH TV, A JEW TAKES A DUMP IN YOUR SOUL.”
Benjamin commented: “This is an old saying that all our grandparents used to say whenever they heard the click of a television set.”
On May 5, 2019, Benjamin shared on Instagrama photo of U.S. President Trump, speaking on the White House lawn to two Jewish men wearing kippahs, a head covering traditionally worn by Orthodox Jewish men.
The photo Benjamin shared was captioned: “I’ve done a lot for your people but I won’t eat the salted baby d**ks guys sorry.” Benjamin commented: “Hahahahaha they seriously will try and make him eat the baby d**ks too. They always do.”
On April 28, 2019, Benjamin posted an image on Instagram of text that read: “For the record I like a lot of Jews. They’re just usually the ones who act like non Jews.”
Benjamin commented: “Hopefully this clears up all this anti Semitic nonsense. As long as a Jew doesn’t lie and trick and scam me, I can totally support them. This obviously thins the herd quite a bit but there are still several I like a lot.”
On March 11, 2019, Benjamin shared on Instagram a screenshot of a news headline that read: “European parties urged to agree Israel boycott tactics are antisemitic.”
Benjamin commented: “The Jews are hilarious. They invented a fake word that makes it so you can’t point out their crimes or have free will. That’s genius if you think about it.”
“Anti-Semitism” is a term used to describe hatred of Jews. It was first coined in 1860 by an Austrian Jewish scholar. However, the term was later popularized in Germany in 1879 when publicist Wilhelm Marr founded the “League of Antisemites,” which advocated for Jews to be expelled from Germany.
Benjamin compared [01:25:30] non-Israeli Jews to fleas in a March 8, 2019, video published on YouTube.
Anti-Jewish Conspiracy Theories
On June 6, 2019, Benjamin wrote on Instagram: “...Not all Jews own the press but all press is owned by the Jews...” Benjamin’s post also featured a graphic suggesting that major media outlets including CBS, ABC, NBC, CNN, among others, are owned or run by Jews.On June 3, 2019, Benjamin shared on Instagram a photographof a Hasidic Jew wearing a shtreimel, that was captioned: “When you own the music industry but have no talent of your own so you wear a snare drum on your head as a hat.”
Benjamin shared the same image on Instagram on March 25, 2019 and commented: “The more absurd the hat the sneakier the man.”
On April 2, 2019, Benjamin wrote on Instagram: “If you point out that a small group of Jews are in control of our govt and our money they will call you anti Semitic, make you apologize, and then use their govt power to take back some of the money they let you have.”
Benjamin continued: “The funniest part is what I said is both a hilarious joke and absolutely 100% true and literally everyone knows if. They just won’t say it cuz they want to keep their extra cash for that shiny new nonsense they don’t actually need or want.”
On February 13, 2019, Benjamin shared a graphic on Instagram with a quote falsely attributed to the French philosopher Voltaire, that read: “‘To learn who rules over you, simply find out who you are not allowed to criticize.’”
Benjamin commented: “So wait, we are ruled by trans midget Jews? This doesn’t check out.”
Racism
On November 30, 2019, Benjamin shared to Instagram a screenshot of a news headline that read: “Zimbabwe Begs White Farmers To Return As Nation Teeters On Brink Of ‘Manmade Starvation.’” The screenshot featured a photo of African children holding out their hands for food.Benjamin commented: “They ran out of bikes to steal and now they realize someone ELSE had to build and pay for the bikes they kept stealing. This is a story as old as time. And somewhere at the root of it is a man with a very small hat.”
That same day, Benjamin shared to Instagram a meme that featured African American Football player, Anthony Adams, dressed in a yellow jacket, peeking from behind a tree, rubbing his hands and licking his lips. The image was headlined: “Heard Owen has a new bike.”
Benjamin commented: “This post got taken down so here it is again cuz it’s hilarious.”
On May 30, 2019, Benjamin shared on Instagram a graphic that featured a photo of then-Israeli Prime MinisterBenjamin Netanyahu with the caption: “Israeli PM, Netanyahu, failed to form a coalition which will send Israel back into elections.”
Benjamin commented: “Ashkenazi DNA is mostly Italian. Starting to make sense. Israel can’t form a stable government, they are obsessed with their mothers, and they are all kind of in a secret crime organization. They are Italians! They also drive vespas and talk with their hands. Can’t avoid your nature.”
Ashkenazi describes Jews who are primarily of European descent.
