Overview

Noor Abdulhay [Noor I. Abdulhay] has spread hatred of Jews and Israel on Twitter.

In May 2017, Abdulhay was affiliated with the University of Michigan (UM)-Flint chapter of the Muslim Students Association (MSA).

As of May 2021, Abdulhay was listed on the UM-Flint directory as a Graduate Student Research Assistant studying Nursing. In the Spring of 2021, Abdulay graduated from UM-Flint with a master’s degree in Public Health.

In June 2018, UM Flint’s Commencement Program listed Abdulhay as a graduate of the School of Health Professions & Studies.

Hatred of Jews and Israel

On July 23, 2017, Abdulhay tweeted: “OHMYGOD Allah yi5rib beit el yahood [May Allah destroy the homes of the Jews] THAT GLOW UP THO LOL I can't breathe.”

On July 14, 2017, Abdulhay tweeted: “Idc who you are or how cool you are or etc. the second I hear you pro Israel you dead to me”

On June 23, 2017, in response to a tweet by Israeli actress Gal Gadot who tweeted a photo of Tel Aviv and wrote: “#Home

” Abdulhay replied: “really isn't your home tho ...#Palestine.”

On June 13, 2017, Abdulhay tweeted: “White person: hey what's up Palestinian: from the river to the sea !!!”

MSA

The MSA was established by members of the Muslim Brotherhood in January 1963 at the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign, with the goal of "spreading Islam as students in North America." A 2004 FBI investigation uncovered an internal Muslim Brotherhood document in which a brotherhood leader identified the MSA as "one of our organizations."

The MSA reportedly has “nearly 600 chapters” located in the United States and Canada, and is “the most visible and influential Islamic student organization in North America,” boasting conferences, special events, publications, websites and other activities.

The organization includes a number of previous chapter presidents with explicit links to terrorist groups. Included are al-Qaeda cleric Anwar al-Awlaki (Colorado State University), Somali al-Shabaab militant leader Omar Shafik Hammami (University of South Alabama) and Pakistani Taliban recruiter Ramy Zamzam of the MSA's Washington, D.C. council.
