Overview

Mohsin Saleem whitewashed terrorism, promoted an anti-Israel conspiracy theory and spread hatred of Israel. He also spread anti-Semitism while at high school.

As of October 2020, Saleem’s Facebook page said he lived in Simi Valley, California.

As of the same date, Saleem’s LinkedIn said he was Sales Coordinator at AssetMark in Encino, California since February 2020 and Founder/CEO/Owner of Rawi Tutoring in Simi Valley - a private tutoring agency providing in-house tutoring services to all grade levels, since October 2016.

Also as of October 2020, Saleem’s LinkedIn said he graduated with a bachelor’s degree inBusiness Administration and Information Systems from California State University, Northridge (CSUN) in 2019.

It also said he volunteered as VP of Marketing at CSUN Student Finance Association since September 2018 and Student Group Leader at Salesforce since April 2018.

As of October 2020, Saleem used the handle “DailyMohsin” and screen name “M̶o̶h̶s̶i̶n̶” on Twitter. As of the same date, he also used the screen name “dailymohsin” on Instagram and “DailyMohsin” on YouTube.

Whitewashing Terrorism

On February 15, 2016, Saleem tweeted: “Israeli soldiers shoot a 14 year old Palestinian girl, stop ambulances from reaching her, and let her bleed to death. Where's the media??”

On February 14, 2016, Yasmin A-Tamimi tried to stab Israeli border police officers at the Cave of The Patriarchs in Hebron. During her attack, Yasmin A-Tamimi was shot and wounded, then transported to an Israeli hospital for medical treatment.

On May 26, 2015, Saleem tweeted: “‘We were hunting for Hamas’ Really? Thats why the bomb you dropped hit two elderly people and a 9 year old? Some terrorists u were hunting.”

On May 26, 2015, after Palestinian Islamic Jihad terrorists fired a rocket into Israel from Hamas-controlled Gaza, Israel struck four terror sites belonging to Hamas and Islamic Jihad, in Gaza. No casualties were reported.

Promoting an Anti-Israel Conspiracy Theory

On June 17, 2019, Saleem tweeted: “Yeah... no conflict of interest here considering the Zionist lobby is one of the biggest in the US. No foreign influence in our elections at all right? Lol. S**ts right under your nose.” Saleem’s tweet referenced Israel’s naming of a new community after U.S. President Trump.

Decrying the influence of “the Israeli lobby” or “Zionist lobby” repeats an anti-Semitic conspiracy theory about Jewish control over foreign governments, popularized in the book “The Israel Lobby” by John Mearsheimer and Stephen Walt.

On September 14, 2016, Saleem tweeted: “we have military bases all over the ME [Middle East]. We don't need Israel. We just have a big lobby for them. Money talks.”

Spreading Hatred of Israel

On October 23, 2020, Saleem tweeted about Israel: “Recognizing a state whose very existence is based in terrorism, apartheid, genocide, and ethnic cleansing isn’t peaceful.
#FreePalestine.” His tweet referred to an announcement by U.S. President Trump about Sudan agreeing to a peace and normalization agreement with Israel.

On September 25, 2020, Saleem tweeted: “Read this thread if you support the criminal, terrorist regime that is the Israeli State.” Saleem linked to a thread whose opening tweet invoked the Al-Durah hoax, an iconic piece of anti-Israel propaganda, fabricated on September 30, 2000 at the start of the Second Intifada by a France 2 reporter.

Another tweet in the thread, referring to the second Intifada, said: “we carry with us a deep trauma living through one of the most violent and crushingly oppressive periods of Israel’s military occupation. This generation saw the ugliest of human nature and to what lengths a regime would go to crush and destroy another people.”

The second intifada was characterized by more than 120 suicide bombings targeting Israeli civilians on buses and in cafes.

On May 30, 2020, Saleem tweeted “I don’t trust any list that don’t have Israel on it” referring to a list of countries that were the largest recipients of foreign aid in 2017.

On September 11, 2019, Saleem tweeted: “Israel is not a US ally. Israel is only Israel’s ally.”

On November 30, 2018, Saleem tweeted: “F**k Israel” in response to a tweet from the anti-Israel collective “Activestills” about the release of a Palestinian teen, Shadi Farrah, from prison.

On December 12, 2015, during the “Knife Intifada,” Shadi Farrah and Ahmad Al-Zaatariwere charged with attempted murder and possession of a knife after Israeli police found knives on the two youth during a stop-and-search in Jerusalem.

On November 12, 2018, Saleem tweeted:“Israel is a terrorist state, and if you want to beef me on this, then you’re gonna lose so just block me.” His tweet referred to a tweet with photos of Israeli airstrikes on a Hamas-run TV station, after staff evacuated due to Israeli warnings.

Also on November 12, 2018, Palestinian terrorists fired at least 300 rockets from Gaza into Israel.

On April 8, 2018, Saleem tweeted: “Ahh, nothing like an Israeli taking the moral high ground during a genocide of Syrians while also carrying out a genocide of Palestinians lol.”

Saleem’s tweet referred to the Chief Rabbi of Israel being quoted as saying “a cruel genocide is taking place in Syria, including women & children, with weapons of mass destruction... There is a moral obligation not to remain silent and to try to stop the massacre.”

On January 3, 2018, Saleem tweeted: “I mean we did give $31 billion to Israel that they use to violate UN resolutions... but who cares about that

” His tweet referred to a tweet by U.S. President Trump about U.S. financial aid to Palestinians.

On May 26, 2015, after Israel struck four terror sites belonging to Hamas and Islamic Jihad, in Gaza, Saleem tweeted: “If Israel wants to hunt terrorists, they should honestly just kill themselves tbh.”

On the same date, Saleem tweeted: “3 AM and Israel carries airstrikes on civilian populations in Southern Gaza. Can someone look up terrorism in the dictionary?”

Israel struck the Palestinian terrorist infrastructure after a mid-range rocket fired by Palestinian Islamic Jihad terrorists from Hamas-controlled Gaza landed near Gan Yavneh in central Israel..
