Zaro has been involved with the Muslim Students Association (MSA) since 2014. She studies at San Joaquin, Delta College (SJ Delta).
Anti-Jewish Social Media Posts
On November 11, 2015, Zaro tweeted: "@apad23 @JebBush KHARA 3aleh inshallah yin7ir2 ma3 al yahood. Another 7aywan [S*T on you, if Allah wills it you’ll be rotted with the Jews. Another stupid animal] smh"
On April 14 2015, Zaro tweeted: “My last full day in Falasteen and i didnt find a husband 😭Its probs cus hes throwing rocking at the yahood [Jews] tho, so its ok”
On September 29, 2015, Zaro tweeted: Trying to go pray at the Aqsa, BUT THE FREAKING YAHOOD. Allah yil3anhom [curse them] 😡”
On July 9, 2015, Zaro tweeted: “Basically reporting any yahood that are being annoying 😊😊😊😊😊”
Spreading a Blood Libel to Support a Terrorist
On October 14, 2015, Zaro tweeted: “I was there… This boy was playing and they shot him habibiThe “young boy” in question is 20 year old Basel Bessam Sidr. Far from “playing”, Sidr had actually rushed at Israeli police officers, attempting to stab them, before being shot.
Zaro retweeted the tweet: “RIGHT NOW occuption [sic] just killed a young boy in front of BabAlAmood in AlQuds for no reason, cold blooded. #Palestine” accompanied by a picture of Sidr.
Israel Hatred
On November 30, 2016, Zaro retweeted the tweet: “Look at that Israeli flag blowing in the wind.” The tweet was accompanied by a picture of a flag featuring a cartoon turd.
On November 11, 2015, Zaro tweeted: “Literally all the candidates are khara [s**t] because they support "Israel".”
On February 3, 2015, Zaro tweeted: “Me hate towards the Israeli government quadruples everyday #FreeGaza”
On January 11, 2015, Zaro tweeted: “@netanyahu: I marched in one row with world leaders in order to unite against terrorism. ” I agree, lets fight Israel”
On December 7, 2014, Zaro tweeted: “The only thing faker than Kylie Jenner's lips is Israel”
On August 18, 2016, Zaro retweeted a tweet of a picture of Israeli soldiers carrying Israeli flags, with the caption: “How Muslims See ISIS.”
Supporting Terror
On October 9, 2015, Zaro retweeted the tweet: “UPDATE: 4 martyrs and 35 injured just today in Gaza, #Intifada #FreePalestine” accompanied by pictures of a Palestinian youth wearing a Keffiyeh and brandishing a kitchen knife.
In October 2015, there was an upsurge in violence across Israel incited by Palestinian political and religious leaders. The wave of stabbings, known as the “Knife Intifada,” was characterized by young Palestinians throughout the country stabbing and attempting to stab Israeli civilians.
Whitewashing Terrorists
On October 4, 2015, Zaro retweeted the tweet: “Young kid (19) was chased by Jewish settlers and ran to Israeli police for help... Shot him dead instead. #Palestine”
The “young kid” refers to Fadi Aloon, who was shot by Israeli security forces after he stabbed a 15-year old Israeli boy in his chest and back. Several hours before the attack, Aloon posted “Either martyrdom or victory” on his Facebook page.
On April 13, 2016, Zaro retweeted a tweet: "Can a 12-year-old girl stab, with her size and her age? No." This Palestinian girl is behind bars in Israel” featuring a video of Dima Al-Wawi. The tweet originated from anti-Israel news site AJ+.
12-year-old Al-Wawi was imprisoned for attempting to stab a security guard at the Israeli community Karmei Tzur. Al-Wawi later claimed she intended to kill the guard and hoped she would be killed in the process. “I was dreaming that I was going to be martyred,” she said.
