Iqra Syed has spread hatred of Zionists and Israel supporters, expressed hatred of Israel and promoted bigotry.

As of July 2022, Syed’s LinkedIn page said she was a “Third Year Nursing Student at Ryerson University,” slated to graduate in 2024

In April 2022, Ryerson University (Ryerson) changed its name to Toronto Metropolitan University (Toronto Met U).

As of the same date, Syed’s LinkedIn said she held internships as a “Student Nurse” at the Humber River Hospital from January to April 2022 and at the Mount Sinai Hospital from September to December 2021, both in Toronto, Ontario.

Also, as of July 2022, Syed’s LinkedIn said she worked at Plato’s Closet since July 2021, and that she was located in Vaughan, Ontario.

As of July 2022, Syed used the alias “i” and the handle “ik000zz” on Twitter and went by “iqra.syedd” on Instagram.

Hatred of Zionists and Israel Supporters

On January 3, 2021, Syed tweeted: “if you support israel block me.”

On May 9, 2021, Syed tweeted: “all zionists ugly as f**k.”

On May 10, 2021, Syed tweeted an image with text that read: “i wish all zionists a very rot in hell” and commented: “<3 [heart symbol].”

On the same day, Syed tweeted: “you’re f**king disgusting if you support israel. rot in hell.”

On May 16, 2021, Syed tweeted: “i can proudly say that none of my friends are zionists.”

On the same day, Syed tweeted: “all zionists are ugly as f**k bro

foreskin looking a**.”

Also on May 16, 2021, Syed tweeted: “zionists do a lot of talking for some mfs [motherf**kers] that are going to spend eternity in hell.”

On May 22, 2021, Syed tweeted: “do these pro-israeli celebrities have one brain cell combined my god.”

Hatred of Israel

Syed retweeted a June 4, 2021 tweet that read: “Do you not remember the forceful sterilization of Ethiopian Jewish people

.”

The claim that the Israeli government forcibly sterilizes African Jewish women is based on a 2012 report, which alleged malpractice by healthcare workers who administered a temporary contraceptive to a group of Ethiopian Jewish women in the late 1990s without their proper consent. The allegations have since been adopted and actively promoted by anti-Israel advocates.

The original tweet was responding to a video by Israeli-Ethiopian activist, Ashager Araro, in which she said [00:00:09]: “When you describe Zionism as this white imperialist idea, you actively delete the history of black and brown Jews.”

Zionism is the belief that Jews have the right to self-determination in their own national home, and the right to develop their national culture.

Syed retweeted a May 19, 2021 tweet that included a petition calling on Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau “to stop the selling of arms to Israel until the end of the illegal occupation.”

On May 11, 2021, Syed tweeted: “‘pray for israel

’ yea pray that it dies.”

Syed retweeted a May 9, 2021 tweet that read: “israelaphobia is a real thing. we should all be israelaphobic.”

On March 17, 2021, Syed tweeted: “israel we aren’t talking about you when we say we love asia.”

Promoting Bigotry

On April 7, 2022, Syed tweeted: “white people will be like omg [oh my god] not even water but forget to clean their a** with water.”
On September 13, 2021, Syed shared on Twitter a screenshot with text that read: “…No, 9/11 was not f**king justified and America didn’t ‘deserve it’” and commented: “r u f**king serious i hate yt [white] americans.”

On July 14, 2021, Syed tweeted: “F**K DEM PEPPA PIGS

Repost if your account is not a safe place for British ‘people

Peppa Pig is a British cartoon character featured in a children’s television series of the same name.

On March 31, 2021, Syed tweeted: “yt [white] people be like omg [oh my god] i would never wash my chicken...mf [mother f**ker] we know y’all don’t even wash ur a**.”

On January 3, 2021, Syed tweeted: “i’m sick of yt [white] people.”
