Anti-Jewish Social Media Posts

On September 13, 2016, Imam shared a "memory" on Facebook, with a link to a video of Palestinians chasing, tripping and throwing rocks at an unarmed Jewish man in a prayer shawl. The video is accompanied by a voiceover from a sports game as well as the mocking caption: “Gareth Bale (soccer player), run and run and goooooooooal.”

On July 18, 2016, Imam tweeted: “Lmao all these Jews look like they're from the Rugrats.”

On May 5, 2013, Imam tweeted: “F**k the yahood [Jews].”

Spreading Anti-Semitic Conspiracy Theories

On September 14, 2016, Imam tweeted “America is definitely Israel's b**ch.” The tweet was accompanied by an image of Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu holding the leash to a dog over which the head of Former President Barak Obama’s head is superimposed, implying the libel that that Israel controls the United States.

The two figures are surrounded by bodies of dead Palestinians, and in the background the well known sign from the entrance to Auschwitz - “Arbeit Macht Frei” is visible, implying a correlation between Israeli policies and those of Nazi Germany.

On July 10, 2016, Imam posted a photoshopped picture of Israeli Jews wearing ISIS shirts and carrying ISIS flags. He wrote: “Israeli Jews celebrating the victories of ISIS. Peep the yellow sign with Hebrew words on it. Exposing the truth 😬.”

Contrary to Imam’s claim, the picture in question featured demonstrators wearing shirts and carrying flags with the acronym of Israel’s supreme court printed in bold white letters on a black background. The demonstration, involving several dozen protesters, concerned an Israeli Supreme Court immigration policy ruling from 2014.

On August 9, 2015, Imam posted an anti-Semitic graphic on facebook implying the well known “Protocols of the elders of Zion” libel that Israel controls the world.

Equating Israel with Nazi Germany

On October 6, 2015, Imam posted a graphic on Instagram equating Gaza with Auschwitz, adding: “All we can do is pray and hope the world will realize the truth and who the real terrorists are. #FreePalestine 🇵🇸 #SaveGaza #F**kIsrael 🇮🇱.”

On Feb 26, 2016, Imam posted a graphic to Instagram equating Israel with Nazi Germany, adding: “the Nazis were treating the Innocent Jews the same way Israel is treating the innocent Palestinians.”

Glorifying Violence

On May 2, 2016, Imam tweeted: "Idgaf if them Jews shoot me umma do whatever it takes to stand up for my country this summer. Catch me throwing rocks nigga it's a wrap"."

On May 11, 2016, Imam posted a photo on Instagram of Palestinians throwing rocks, with the hashtag “#SquadGoals.”

Rock throwing is a deadly form of terrorism against Israelis and a common form of violence adopted by Palestinian agitators.

On December 22, 2016, Imam posted a picture of himself on Instagram holding three guns, with the caption: “We aren't terrorists we're just gun enthusiasts ✊”

On June 25, 2015, Imam posted on Facebook a picture of a palestinian youth throwing rocks with a slingshot.

On November 27, 2016, Imam shared a video glorifying Palestinian youth taunting and attacking Israeli civilians and soldiers.

Hatred of Israel

On September 17, 2016, Imam tweeted: "if you're still with Israel unfollow me I ain't with that ignorant sh*t."

On July 8, 2016, Imam tweeted: “F**k a Zionist this is my country.”

On June 28, 2016, Imam posted on Instagram: “#Palestine#f**kisraelizionists”

On April 22, 2016, Imam tweeted: "I hate y'all mother f**kers so much. @Israel @netanyahu I hope you guys burn in hell.

"On April 14, 2016, Imam tweeted: “F**K ISRAEL”

On April 16, 2013, Imam posted a picture of a bombed city on Instagram, adding: “Heres a lil sneakpeek of whats happening in palestine. The israelis enjoy bombing us. This didnt happen today but this happens frequently. U.S. we need support. #palestine#palestinian #f**kisrael.”

Demonizing Israel

On May 4, 2016, Imam tweeted: ""ISIS" is a terrorist organization basically doing the same thing Israel is doing to the Palestinians."

On May 4, 2016, Imam tweeted referring to Israel as “devils killing innocent lives.”

On August 9, 2015, Imam shared a graphic on Facebook implying that Israel intentionally bombs and throws molotov cocktails on Palestinian babies in the West Banks and Gaza.

On July 10, 2016, Imam tweeted: “if u consider Hamas terrorists, consider the marines and the Israeli military terrorists too.”

Glorifying a Terrorist

On October 11, 2016, Imam shared a video to Facebook, with the caption: "Martyr Abu Sabieh."

On October 9, 2016, Mesbah Abu Sabih opened fire on pedestrians, killing a civilian. He was then was killed in a shootout in which he killed one police officer and wounded another. The gunman was indicted in 2013 for assaulting a police officer in Jerusalem’s Old City.

On July 12, 2016, Imam shared a set of pictures on Facebook accusing Israel of leaving “the child Ahmed Manasrah” “Bleeding on the ground, after which he was “imprisoned, tortured and abused” by Israel and their “will to kill”.

Ahmed Manasra (sometimes spelled Mansara) and his 15-year-old cousin Hassan went on a stabbing spree in Jerusalem on October 12, 2015, during the Knife Intifada. They critically wounded a 13-year-old boy and moderately wounded a 25-year-old man. The spree ended when police shot Hassan and a passing motorist hit Ahmed. Ahmed was taken to an Israeli hospital. He admitted to investigators: “I went there to stab Jews.” He was later tried and convicted on two counts of attempted murder.
