On March 15, 2015, Swaid tweeted: “Israeli self-determination is the most idiotic thing I've ever heard of in my entire life.” Swaid added: “The world owes you ABSOLUTELY NOTHING just because you were born a Jew.”

On February 13, 2014, Swaid tweeted: “Hate the Jews but I love their wine.”

Support for Terrorists

On July 5, 2014, during Israel’s Operation Protective Edge (OPE) in Gaza, Swaid tweeted: “Third intifada en route...... #UpTheRebels #powertoPalestine.”

Since the early 2000s, the term “intifada,” which translates from Arabic as “uprising” or “insurrection,” has carried the connotation of violence.  

Israel commenced OPE in July 2014 to stop rocket fire targeting Israeli civilians and to destroy Hamas attack tunnels.

On September 12, 2014, Swaid tweeted: “Leila khaled .”

Khaled is a leader of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP) and participated in the hijacking of TWA Flight 840 in 1969 and El Al Flight 219 in 1970. As of 2017, Khaled was a member of PFLP's Political Bureau.

Khaled has said that the second intifada failed because it was not violent enough, advocated for the use of children in terror activities and compared Zionists to Nazis.

The PFLP claimed credit for the 2014 Har Nof Massacre where six people were murdered during morning prayers in a Jerusalem synagogue. The PFLP also claimed credit for the 2001 assassination of the Israeli tourism minister. 

On September 7, 2014, Swaid tweeted: “PFLP Gaza .” The tweet featured a photo of members of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP).

The PFLP is a designated terrorist organization by the United States, European Union, Canada and Israel. 

On September 8, 2014, Swaid tweeted: “PFLP > Hamas.”

On September 27, 2014, Swaid tweeted: “I'll also bless your timeline this morning with a picture from the first intifada in Palestine, 1988 #saba7elward .” The tweet featured a photo of masked Palestinian militants.

On October 3, 2015, Swaid tweeted: “Prayers for Palestine. 3rd intifada en route.”

In October 2015, there was an upsurge in violence across Israel incited by Palestinian political and religious leaders. The wave of stabbings, known as the “Knife Intifada,” was characterized by young Palestinians throughout the country stabbing and attempting to stab Israeli civilians.

Demonizing Israel

On February 3, 2015, Swaid tweeted: “ISIS is not better than Israel. Iza She2et 7ala il modo3 [If the subject unfolded itself], they are on the same level.”

On January 30, 2015, Swaid tweeted: “@FouadBouso yeah but I don't trust Israel.”

On January 18, 2015, Swaid tweeted: “Yil3an saba7on [God damn their day] dirtier than Israel ma shifit b 7ayatay [I didn’t see in my life] frickin snakes.”

On July 1, 2014, Swaid tweeted: “Don't get me wrong though I still hate Israel for the 6 day war and stealing the golan heights from Syria #neverforget.”
