Glorifying Terrorism

On October 13, 2015, Elkhayat retweeted the tweet: “Palestinian women stand on the front lines to help aid the resistance in Beit-El. #ThirdIntifada #FreePalestine pic.twitter.com/EAS2p80iUI.” The tweet featured images of Keffiyeh-masked women, some of whom were carrying rocks.

October 2015 saw an upsurge in violence across Israel incited by Palestinian political and religious leaders. The wave of stabbings, known as the “Knife Intifada,” saw young Palestinians throughout the country stabbing and attempting to stab scores of Israeli civilians.

On October 13, 2015, Elkhayat tweeted an article about the killing of three Israelis and the wounding of 20 others in knife intifada stabbing and shooting attacks, commenting: “where's the coverage of all the Palestinian deaths???”

On the same thread, Elkhayat  commented: “YOU GOT TO BE KIDDING ME.” Elkhayat made her comment in response to the reaction of Israeli woman, who was interviewed after experiencing a Palestinian attack on a passenger bus. The Israeli woman said: “you can’t be safe anywhere, we are worried all the time, the children are trembling.”

On October 12, 2015, Elkhayat retweeted a tweet featuring an image of Marah Bakir and the caption: “More than 10 Israeli police surrounded a young Palestinian female, then shot fire together. Jerusalem.”  

Marah Bakir, 16, stabbed and wounded an Israeli Border Police officer, before she was shot. Bakir was arrested and  sentenced to eight and a half years in prison on charges of attempts to carry out a stabbing attack.

On October 9, 2015, Elkhayat retweeted a tweet featuring a video of Asraa Zidan Tawfik Abed, who was shot by Israeli police. The tweet had the caption: “This is how they do us!!! Palestinian girl at a bus stop with her hands up, no weapon, begging not to shoot. Killed.”

Abed — a 30 year-old woman— was wounded in the lower body on October 9, 2015 — after she attempted to stab a security guard at a bus station and refused to heed repeated commands to drop her weapon. Abed was not killed. She later underwent surgery at an Israeli hospital.

Hatred of Israel and Zionists

On February 25, 2016, Ekhayat tweeted: “Yikhrab baitak ya kalb [May your home be destroyed, you dog]” in response to a tweet by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, that read: “Iran has announced that it will give money to the families of Palestinian terrorists who murdered Israelis. Iran hasn't changed its ways.”

On August 24, 2015, Elkhayat retweeted a tweet which read: “What an ugly dog...btw what kinda dog is the other one on the right its beautiful.” Attached to the tweet was a photo of Israel’s PM Netanyahu sitting to the left of a dog he rescued.

On March 3, 2015, Elkhayat tweeted a screenshot of a pro-Israel Twitter follower she blocked, adding: “Get outta here with that I love Israel s**t. This is like the 6th one to follow me just today.”

On June 5, 2014, Elkhayat tweeted: “Zionists klab wallah [Zionists are dogs] .”

On november 13, 2012, Elkhayat tweeted: “Total Arab tweet. Haha RT ‘@AroubM: Yin3an abo Israel. Oolo Ameen [Curse the father of Israel. Amen].’”

On July 29, 2012, Elkhayat tweeted: “RT ‘@FaragTweets: #IsraelOlympics Israel gets a gold medal in swimming.Swimming in pools of Palestinian blood that is’.’’
