Derrick Davis

Davis has self-identified as a “Hebrew” in reference to the Black Hebrew Israelites, an African American group whose members claim to be the true descendants of the ancient biblical Hebrews.  

As of September 2020, Davis’s LinkedIn page said he was a Music Professional and studied at Ohio University (OU) from “1990 - 1992.”

As of September 2020, Davis’s other LinkedIn page said he studied Accounting and Business Management at OU-Lancaster, from “1993-1994.”

As of September 2020, Davis’s Facebook page said he was an artist “formerly known as Dastardly Skillz” and “is now Yahawadah Rawchaa” of the musical duo “Sons of Jake.” As of the same date, the duo’s Twitter account said they were from “Columbus, Ohio.”

As of September 2020, Davis also went by his stage name “Yahawadah Rawchaa” on Facebook. On Twitter,Davis also used the name ““Yahawadah Rawchaa” as well as his former stage name, “Dastardly Skillz.” On Instagram, Davis used the alias “mindfulmuziq.” 

Also as of the same date, Davis sold his musical productions on multiple online platforms, including Spotify, Apple Music, Youtube and Reverbnation.

Anti-Semitism

On July 16, 2020, Davis shared a meme on Facebook that juxtaposed a photo of Orthodox Jews with a caption that read: “What They Tell Us Jews Look Like” alongside a photo of Black Hebrew Israelites, with a caption that read: “What Jews Really Look Like. Wake Up Israel.”

On July 15, 2020, Davis wrote on Facebook praising Nick‌ ‌Cannon‌‌, who was fired by ViacomCBS in July 2020 after he made anti-Semitic comments on his podcast. 

During the podcast, Cannon reportedly promoted various anti-Semitic conspiracy theories, including the claim that Jewish people control the media. Cannon also reportedly suggested that Jewish people were not real Jews and that African Americans were “the true Hebrews."

Cannon later apologized for his comments.

In his Facebook post about Cannon, Davis wrote: “DON'T DO THE DESEAN JACKSON! WE ARE THE ISRAELITES THE BIBLE SPEAKS OF!!!!!!! #Psalms 94:16 Who will rise up for me against the evildoers? or who will stand up for me against the workers of iniquity?”

Davis’s reference to “Desean” referred to football player Desean Jackson, who had also promoted an anti-Semitic hoax, for which he subsequently apologized. 

In July 2020, Desean Jackson promoted on Instagram a claim that Hitler said African Americans were the real Jews, and that “white Jews… will blackmail America.”

On June 30, 2020, Davis shared a graphic on Facebook that suggested that Ashkenazi Jews were descendants of Khazars.


On June 29, 2020, Davis wrote on Facebook: “The ‘Jew-ish’ are the Biblical Israelites????? REVELATIONS 2:9 & 3:9 HAS DETERMINED THAT IS A LIE!!!” 

Davis’s post referred toverses from the Book of Revelation, 2:9 in the New Testament, that reads: “I know thy works, and tribulation, and poverty, (but thou art rich) and I know the blasphemy of them which say they are Jews, and are not, but are the synagogue of satan.” 

The post also referenced to Revelation 3:9, that reads: “Behold, I will make them of the synagogue of Satan, which say they are Jews, and are not, but do lie; behold, I will make them to come and worship before thy feet, and to know that I have loved thee.”

On June 24, 2020, Davis shared a meme on Facebook that featured a photo of an Orthodox Jewish child with buck teeth, and payot, captioned: “YOU MUST BE OUT YOUR DAMN MIND IF YOU THINK THIS IS GOD’S CHOSEN CHILDREN.”

Davis added: “...This is...#TheDevilTheBibleSpeaksOf #TheBorderOfWickedness.”

On June 10, 2020, Davis shared a photo on Facebook of a newspaper headline that read: “Edomites Occupy Israel.” The article featured a photo of ultra-Orthodox Jews. 

Edom refers to the Biblical Edomites, who were the descendants of and representatives of the biblical figure Esau in the book of Genesis.

On April 16, 2020, Davis shared a graphic on Instagram a graphic on Facebook with a quote ascribed to former Egyptian President, Gamal Abdel Nasser, that read: “The Jews will never be able to live here in peace, because they left here black but came back white..”

On February 16, 2020, Davis posted on Facebook a graphic with a quote about the Biblical figures Jacob and Esau, taken from “Legends of the Jews,” a scholarly work by Rabbi Louis Ginzberg. Davis wrote: “...Future prophecy in a nutshell, from the mouth of Amalek.”

In the Biblical book of Exodus, Amalek is a recurrent enemy of the Jews.

On August 2, 2019, Davis shared a graphic on Facebook that juxtaposed an image of Africans being taken as slaves with a caption that read: “The Jews left Black,” with an image of Orhodox Jews with a caption that read: “but they came back White…”

On August 1, 2019, Davis shared a graphic on Facebook that featured a photo of the front cover of the book titled: “WHO IS ESAU-EDOM?” by Charles A. Weisman. 

Weisman was an author infamous for publishing anti-Semitic material, such asThe Hidden Tyranny.”Weisman also reportedlyauthored “a score of booklets that attack Jews, decry the Catholic Church and claim that ‘cognitive tests have proven the Negro to be intellectually inferior to the European.’”

As of July 2020, the description of Weisman’s book, “WHO IS ESAU-EDOM?” on Amazon said the book “traces the life & destiny of Esau and his descendants, the Edomites, to the present day, and their connection with modern Jewry.”The description also said: the book “will unveil and explain many of the problems in the world.”

On July 25, 2019, Davis shared a meme on Facebook that featured a photo of Orthodox Jews next to a photo of black children, with a caption that read: “THE GREATEST CASE OF IDENTITY THEFT EVER. Stealing the identity of a Nation.” 

On July 12, 2019, Davis shared a photo on Facebook of a banner that read: “JEW BY BLOOD NOT BY THEFT.”

Anti-Jewish Conspiracy Theories

On July 17, 2020, Davis wrote on Facebook: “THE JEWISH = Wish they were ‘JEWS’, funded the slave trade. Look it up, so called blacks need to read the Bible and history books...”

The claim that Jews were dominant in the Transatlantic Slave Trade was propagated in a 1991 book published by the Nation of Islam, a branch of the Black Nationalist Movement titled: “Secret Relationship between Blacks and Jews” 

The book has been discredited in a work titled: “Jews, Slaves, and the Slave Trade: Setting the Record Straight” by the late Eli Faber, who was Professor Emeritas of History at John Jay College of Criminal Justice, City University, of New York (CUNY).

On June 23, 2020, Davis shared on Facebook a graphic e of Hitler and fabricated quotes purporting to prove Hitler claimed African Americans were the real Jews.

A 2015 version of the hoax, published on the website FMLGoneViral.com, claimed that Hitler once said: “America has stolen the jews. The Jews of God. His jewelry. The negros. They are the true hebrews...”

On May 12, 2020, Davis shared a meme on Facebook that featured photos of British financier Evelyn de Rothschild and billionaire Bill Gates.

The photo of Gates was captioned: “I am worth $61 Billion US Dolars. IMPRESSIVE.”

The photo of Rothschild was captioned: “With the exception of 3 countries, every $ of currency on earth is an I o u to my family. VERY IMPRESSIVE.”

Underneath the photo captions, additional text continued: “Before 9/11 there were 7 countries without a Rothschild -Owned Central Bank: Afghanistan. Iraq. Sudan. Cuba, North Korea & Iran. As of 2012 only 3 are left to invade, take over and aquire before the worlds wealth is controlled by a single family. THIS SHOULD SCARE YOU.”

Conspiracy theories regarding the Rothschild family date back to the 18th century. Anti-Semites frequently cite the family’s wealth to support the claim that “Jews control the world’s money supply.”

Misogyny

On August 2, 2019, Davis shared a cartoon graphic that depicted a man spanking a woman held across his knee , with text that read: “This is what a lot of you loud mouth disrespectful women need....”  

Davis commented on the post, saying: “For all the ladies commenting...Don't take it personal if YOU'RE IN ORDER. SOME women do need an a** whooping as you use the ROD on a CHILD. The result of acting CHILD ‘ISH’....”

Hatred of America 

On June 7, 2020, Davis shared a meme on Facebook that featured an image that demonized the Statue of Liberty with a caption that read: “AMERIKKKA LAND OF THE THEIVES, HOME OF THE SLAVES.”

The term “Amerikkka” uses the initials of the Ku Klux Klan (KKK) as a way to demonize America as “fascist or racist.”  

On June 30, 2020, Davis shared a graphic on Facebook that illustrated the red and white strips of the American flag formed by rows of Klu Klux Klansmen and the stars of the flag formed by rows of police officers. The caption read: “THIS IS AMERICA.”

On May 28, 2020, Davis shared a graphic on Facebook that featured an image of a red Devil, with a caption that read: “THIS IS’NT THE DEVIL THE BIBLE SPEAKS OF.” The image was followed by a photo an caucasian male holding an American flag, with text that read: “THIS IS THE DEVIL THE BIBLE SPEAKS OF.”

On May 20, 2020, Davis shared a graphic on Facebook that featured a photo of a black woman with the American flag painted on her lips. Text framing the image read: “WHEN STOCKHOLM SYNDROME MAKES YOU LOVE TO KISS THE A** OF YOUR OPPRESSOR.”

Davis commented on the graphic, saying: “Quit loving your oppressors!”

“Stockholm Syndrome’ describes “a condition in which hostages develop a psychological alliance with their captors during captivity.”

On August 15, 2019, Davis shared a post on Facebook that suggested the Biblical cities Sodom and Gomorrah were “The precursor to Amerikkka.” Davis added: “#WeGonTakeTheKingdom.”  

On August 8, 2019, Davis shared a meme on Facebook that suggested the initialsU.S.A stand for “UNDER SATAN’S AUTHORITY”and that America is ruled by white Christians in league with the Devil.

On August 8, 2019, Davis also shared a meme on Facebook with a caption that read: “Sodom and gomorrah destroyed. Genesis 19:28. babylon destroyed. Jeremiah 51.8. America aka New Babylon next. Revelation 14:8.” 

The meme Davis shared featured images of Sodom and Gommoroh being destroyed by fire and brimstone, Babylon in flames, and a desolate New York City with a beheaded Statue of Liberty, as portrayed in the sci-fi movie Cloverfield.

 On August 2, 2019, Davis shared a graphic on Facebook that suggested that both Democrats and Republicans are all Klu Klux Klansmen..

On July 4, 2019, Davis shared a graphic on Facebook that featured a caption that read: “BLACK WOMAN NEVER FORGET.” The graphic included an image of a black woman standing next to a noose.

The caption continued: “America, doesn’t give a damn about you either. They’ll spare you if they can use you against your men and families. But if you get outta line, theyll Lynch you too.”

Hatred of White People

On June 21, 2020, Davis shared a graphic on Facebook that suggested the similarity of white people’s lips to those of a scowling chimpanzee.

Davis wrote: “...Question: Why were WE the ones being called ‘Monkeys?’...”

On June 20, 2020, during the coronavirus pandemic, Davis shared a graphic on Facebook that featured robed ad hooded Klu Klux Klansmen with a caption that read: “I don’t know why WHITE PEOPLE are making such a big deal about wearing a mask in public. It's not like it bothered them before:”

On June 16, 2020, Davis shared a graphic on Facebook that suggested all white men are Klu Klux Klansmen, preying on black women..

On June 13, 2020, Davis shared a graphic on Facebook that coupled an image of a masked Klu Klux KK Klansman captioned: “MASK ON” with an image of Jesus with caucasian features, captioned: “MASK OFF.” 

Davis commented on the graphic, saying: “#TheDevilTheBibleSpeaksOf
Transforming into an ‘angel of light.’”

The original poster of the graphic wrote: “Left : white folks in private Right : white folks in public.”

On August 10, 2019, Davis shared a graphic on Facebook that compared White people with pigs. The caption on the image read: “...The flesh of Caucasians and Swine burns up when exposed to direct Sunlight. Caucasians and Swine are grafted animals, unnatural to this Universe.”

On August 2, 2019, Davis shared a graphic on Facebook that mocked arguments made by White people that they can not be held responsible for slavery carried out by white people in the past. 

The meme featured a quotefrom the biblical book of Isaiah 14:21
, that read: “Prepare Slaughter for his Children for the Sins of their Father’s [sic].”
