Overview
Afiya Patterson has praised Hitler on social media. Patterson has self-identified on Twitter as a Hebrew and as an Israelite, in reference to the Black Hebrew Israelites, an African American group whose members claim to be the true descendants of the ancient biblical Hebrews.As of August 2020, Patterson’s Facebook page said she was a Dietician at Dietary Aide and “Studies Forensic Psychology” at Southern New Hampshire University (SNHU) and that she “Started in 2019.”
As of the same date, Patterson’s Facebook page also said she studied at Lone Star College and lived in Palmdale, California.
In June 2020, Patterson used the alias charmmebae on Twitter and the screen name Bomb Dignity.
As of August 2020, Patterson used the screen name STONEHEARTED
on Twitter.Praising Hilter
On June 24, 2020, Patterson wrote on Facebook: “Hitler knew the real jews were black people that's why he wanted all the fake jews dead.”Patterson’s post featured a graphic that promoted the claim that Hitler said African Americans were the real Jews, a hoax which was exposed by the fact-checking website, Snopes.com.
A 2015 version of the hoax, published on the website FMLGoneViral.com, claimed that Hitler once said: “America has stolen the jews. The Jews of God. His jewelry. The negros. They are the true hebrews...”
Another Facebook user commented on Patterson’s post, saying: “That nigga exterminated black Jews too.”
Patterson replied: “Right but that wasn't the plan he executed. That's why he killed himself becuase [sic] things got out of hand and nobody understood his actual plan. He didn't like that white people stripped us of everything. Whatever they taught us in school about Hitler is not all the way true.”
On June 4, 2018, Patterson tweeted: “Hitler knew who the real Jews were. The school system make you believe he was the most hated man in the world. To them yes. He was trying to kill the Jew-ish!!”
On March 27, 2018, Patterson tweeted: “Hitler was actually a hero.”
