Fight For Our Rights, Fight For Palestine, Free Mahmoud Khalil
Activists at the front of the march held a large banner that showed two large keys and said [00:00:02]: "RESISTANCE UNTIL RETURN."
Anti-Israel activists use the term “resistance” to refer to violence and terror perpetrated against Israeli civilians and their allies. It is used to glorify and encourage anti-Israel and anti-Semitic violence. Anti-Israel activists chant slogans such as: “Resistance by any means necessary!” and “Resistance is justified when people are occupied!” in response to terror attacks.
The “right of return” is a Palestinian demand discredited as a means to eliminate Israel. It is often expressed by showing a key symbol or emoji. International law mandates no absolute right of return and UN Resolution 194, which defined principles for “refugees wishing to return to their homes,” was rejected by all Arab nations following the 1948 Arab-Israeli War.
Organizers gave marchers signs that said [00:00:07]: "FREE PALESTINE" and [00:00:18] "THE MOVEMENT CONTINUES UNTIL PALESTINE IS FREE!"
“Free Palestine!” is a chant used to call for Israel's destruction, acting as a shorter version of "From the River to the Sea, Palestine will be free!" It was shouted during multiple deadly attacks on pro-Israel activists in 2025 in America. It has been used to vandalize synagogues and other Jewish-owned property, and is described as a "battle cry for the death of Jews.”
