Overview

Zeina Elissa [Zeina A. Elissa] has spread hatred of Jews and demonized Israel on social media.

In 2016, Elissa featured in a photo shared on Facebook by Students for Justice in Palestine (SJP) at the University of Houston (UH) with other SJP UH activists.

In 2016, Elissa was also a member of the closed Facebook group “Houston Palestinian Underground Resistance.”

As of December 2020, Elissa’s Facebook page said that she “studies Doctor of Pharmacy- PharmD [sic.]” at UH College of Pharmacology, and was slated to complete her studies in 2021.

As of December 2020, Elissa was listed on the UH directory as a student in the Pharmacy Department.

As of March 2021, Elissa was listed as a licensed Pharmacy Technician in Texas, registration number 243064. Her license had been delinquent since June 2020 and was first issued in May 2015.

As of the same date, Elissa was also listed as a Registered Technician, employed at CVS Pharmacy in Sugarland, Texas.

Promoting Hatred of Jews

On March 22, 2013, Elissa tweeted: “I literally will never be able to sympathize with yahood [Jews]. like no matter how bad what happened to them was, what they did was SO much worse.”

On March 20, 2013, Elissa tweeted: “@SaadDaad93 he acts like a jew. I hate him omg.”

On December 7, 2012, Elissa tweeted: “No body likes Jewish people. Like not even white people do.”

On November 30, 2012, Elissa tweeted: “‘So like..... Why does no one like Jews?’ #quoteoftheday.”

On November 17, 2012, Elissa tweeted: “@SaadYassir @yousef_yassir still not accepted. Jew.”

On November 12, 2012, Elissa tweeted: “‘shut your mouth you jew.”

On October 23, 2012, Elissa tweeted: “@SaadYassir @xmaheena well. Maybe we just haven't checked the mail yet.. Jew.”

On February 18, 2012, Elissa tweeted: “I'm Palestinian. therefore, i hate Jews and Israel. -with love.”

Demonizing Israel

On July 20, 2014, Elissa tweeted: “If you don't hate Israel as much as you hate Hitler, something is wrong.”

On February 18, 2012, Elissa tweeted: “@trevorkian5 understand that arabs will never accept israel as a ‘neighbor’. they are not ‘neighbors’ they are klab [dogs].”

SJP

SJP is a student organization engaged in anti-Israel activity on North American college and university campuses.

The first chapter of SJP was founded in 2001 at the University of California at Berkeley by Professor Hatem Bazian. Bazian has spread classic anti-Semitism, reportedly promoted religious anti-Semitism and defended the Hamas terror group. In 2004, Bazian called for “intifada” in America.

SJP organizes anti-Israel campaigns, including running annual Israel Apartheid Weeks, often in collaboration with Jewish Voice for Peace (JVP) and Muslim Students Association (MSA) campus chapters.

SJP has been a major force in pushing the anti-Semitic Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement on campuses. Chapters have initiated dozens of BDS resolutions in student governments, which have been proposed on or around Jewish holidays, a time when many Jewish students are off-campus.

SJP activists have reportedly physically assaulted, intimidated and harassed Jewish students, disrupted pro-Israel campus events and demonized pro-Israel campus organizations.

Chapters have often endorsed and campaigned for numerous terrorists and whitewashed terrorism.
