Conspiracy Theories

On July 27, 2012, Ali implied that Zionism is part of a New World Order conspiracy theory, which accuses secret societies like the Illuminati and Freemasons of controlling the world. These theories often draw on the anti-Semitic forgery the Protocols of the Elders of Zion.
Ali tweeted: “Zion or Zionism, is the belief that Jews are the rightful inhabitants or Israel/Palestine. Lol Illuminati.”
On July 30, 2014, Ali tweeted: “Most American politicians are nothing short of weak spineless pu**ies. They're so far up Israel's a** it's almost funny.”

On April 17, 2013, Ali tweeted: “Senate Resolution: ‘If Israel goes to war with Iran, the U.S. does’ When will the U.S. government stop riding Israel's d**k?”
Calling All Jews “Rich and More Affluent”
On July 17, 2013, Ali propagated the anti-Semitic conspiracy theory that all Jews are rich and more affluent than non-Jews. Ali tweeted: “Crazy thing is, Jews live all around. U dont see em cause they go to better schools than u, have better jobs than u, & are socially above u.”
On April 22, 2013, Ali tweeted: “Mr.Humphrey tried to tell me that Jews are not the richest people in the U.S & that Asians are. Get tf outta here.”

Likening Israel to Nazi Germany
On June 6, 2016, Ali responded to a tweet by the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) Spokesperson twitter account wishing Muslims a “Ramadan Kareem [generous].”
Ali tweeted — “This is like Hitler's military spokesperson wishing Jews a happy Rosh Hashanah before continuing their massacres.”
“Drawing comparisons of contemporary Israeli policy to that of the Nazis” is considered a contemporary form of anti-Semitism as defined by the U.S. State Department.
Condemning Holocaust Survivor Elie Wiesel
On August 11, 2014, Ali tweeted: “Elie Wiesel is a rat. I'm regretful that I read his book ‘Night’ in AP language 2 yrs ago & actually I felt bad for him. Shame.”
A Twitter follower asked Ali “why.”he condemned Elie Wiesel. Ali replied “he's a hypocrite. Hes anti-Arab & anti-Palestine. He talks about his experiences in the holocaust but supports Israel's genocide.”
Ali went on to slam Elie Weisel’s support for Israel, tweeting: “hes a fraud. Probably the biggest hypocrite of all time. He writes on genocide & the Holocaust but dehumanizes Palestinians.”
Following Wiesel's death in 2016, Ali’s words were echoed by anti-Semitic journalist Max Blumenthal who said that “Elie Wiesel went from a victim of war crimes to a supporter of those who commit them.” He was slammed for these comments by Hillary Clinton who rejected them as “offensive, hateful, and patently absurd statements.” U.S. President Obama in a statement on Wiesel's death called him “the conscience of the world.”
Scapegoating the U.S. and Israel For Global Problems
On June 17, 2013, Ali tweeted: “I feel like all the current problems in the world are linked to the U.S, Israel, & all their d**kriding countries- most of Europe.”
Branding a Moderate Muslim: “Traitor”
On November 7, 2014, Ali tweeted a photo of Kasim Hafeez, a former anti-Semitic Muslim extremist who became a peace-promoting Zionist. Ali called Hafeez a “misguided idiot,” writing: “This truly upsets me brah. Like honestly, what a f**king traitor.”
Demonizing Israel
On March 2, 2016, Ali participated in manning the mock “apartheid wall” as part of SJP UTK’s Israeli Apartheid Week.
The display misrepresented Israel’s security fence — built as a non-violent deterrent to Palestinian terrorist attacks carried out by Palestinian suicide bombers. The display also lied that Israel’s barrier was “25-feet high, and 403 miles long.” In fact, 97% of Israel’s fence is a low chain link barrier. The atypical concrete portions of the fence were built only in response to Palestinian sniper attacks. The mock wall text also lied that “1661 KM of roads were only accessible by Israeli settlers.”
The text on the mock wall falsely accused Israel of practicing apartheid. The wall also featured a deliberately misleading map of Palestine, with the terror-whitewashing headline “To Exist is to Resist.” SJP UTK’s map is similar to another widely debunked map — dubbed “The Map That Lies” — that fraudulently presented lands once controlled by Britain, Egypt, and Jordan as autonomous “Palestinian land,” purportedly stolen by Israel.
SJP used the deceptive display as a tool to promote a boycott of Sabra Hummus, an Israeli-owned hummus brand, owned by the Osem group. Writing on the wall called for stores to “deshelve” Sabra.
SJP UTK and UTK MSA
The leadership and general membership of SJP UTK and UTK MSA is fraught with virulent anti-Semites, Hitler and Nazi sympathizers, promoters of terrorist incitement, homophobes and bigots. These individuals propagate Jew-hatred, often — but not always— under the guise of attacking “Israelis” and “Zionists.”
SJP UTK and UTK MSA Members - Spreading Homophobia
On March 8, 2014, Hesham Annamer — a 2016 nominee running for the position of board member of UTK MSA, tweeted — “My little brother was facetiming one of his little fag friends & i was talking. Dude was like ‘who's that in the background?’”
On May 9. 2013, Eyad Hijer, a UTK MSA member, tweeted — “‘@ogmcphee: @eyadhijer @iammusick I'd call him daddy’ of course you would you faggot.”

On December 18, 2015, Abdel-Khalek tweeted “Transphobic? Are we making up words now.Come on niggas you got me f**ked up if Im gonna acknowledge a transgender. Seriously shoot me if I do.”
On June 23, 2016 Abdel-Khalek tweeted a drawing of a baby locked in a cage, being spoken to by an adult standing outside the cage: “You can come out when you’re done being a little faggot.”
On October 19, 2014, Abdel-Khalek tweeted a picture of Spiderman, with the caption “This is exactly the kind of s**t that makes people think you’re a faggot.”
UTK MSA Member - Spreading Anti-Black Racism
On October 15, 2014, UTK MSA member Eyad Hijer tweeted a quote from fellow UTK student Jesse West that read: “...Everyone pray for my sister. Nothing's wrong with her, she just likes black guys.”
UTK MSA Leader - Demonizing White People
On March 9, 2012, Sonya Hadjerioua, an executive board member of UTK MSA, tweeted — “When I think of green eyes I think of white ppl and when I think of white ppl think of HITLER @ayat0315.”
SJP UTK and UTK MSA Members - Praising Hitler and Promoting Jew-Hatred
Eyad Hijer on July 17, 2014 tweeted to a Jewish person — “‘...I already hate you. You dirty filthy Jew. All your people do is f**ked s**t up. Wish hitler was still around to show you guys.”
On December 27, 2015 — in response to a tweet that read : “The most morally army in the world, the Israeli army Leave A Comment !” — Hijer tweeted: “This is why I hate Jews.”
On April 20, 2014, Hesham Annamer — a 2016 nominee for the position of UTK MSA Board Member— tweeted: “Hitler had alot of great ideas. We need a guy like that in the white house.”
On June 21, 2013, UTK MSA member Afeef Youssef Kamah tweeted a meme featuring an anti-Semitic caricature of a Jew with a big, hooked nose. The meme, known as the “Happy Merchant,” originally appeared in a racist and anti-Semitic piece promoting a world without Jews and Blacks — comparing them, respectively, to rats and cockroaches. Youssef Kamah tweeted the meme along with the comment — “@jayomarion @AbdelRahmanM OHH WE ARE FRIENDS…”
On August 15, 2015, SJP UTK member Jenine Omari liked a tweet by UTK MSA member and virulent anti-Semite, Eyad Hijer, who tweeted — “F**k Jews.”
Stori Nuri — a co-president of UTK MSA and president of SJP UTK on January 22, 2015, tweeted — “‘Jew test: throw a pen and if they pick it up they're a Jew’.”
UTK MSA Leader - Propagating Anti-Semitic Conspiracy Theories
Ebad Hussain, the 2016-2017 treasurer of UTK MSA tweeted, on August 9, 2014— "In America you can criticize God, but you cannot criticize Israel. To learn who rules over you, simply find out who you cannot criticize."
SJP UTK Leader - Spreading Hatred of Israel and Zionists
Stori Nuri — a co-president of UTK MSA and president of Students for Justice in Palestine (SJP) at UTK. (SJP UTK) — tweeted on April 6, 2016: “Your daily reminder that Israel is a piece of s**t.”
SJP UTK Founder - Calling for a Third Intifada
On December 8, 2013, Amira Sakalla the founder of SJP UTK tweeted — ““@PalAnonymous: Today marks the 26th anniversary of the First #Intifada #Palestine ” About time for another one..” More than 10,000 Israelis were maimed or murdered by the Palestinian terrorist violence of the First and Second Intifadas — mostly in the suicide suicide bombings that characterized the Second Intifada.
SJP UTK Leader - Glorifying Anti-Semitic Terrorist Incitement
On October 16, 2015, Fatima Itmaizah, the vice president of SJP UTK, updated her Facebook profile picture to a graphic promoting violence against Jews. It suggested that Jewish presence on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem is akin to a peel that needs to be cut way with a knife. The image depicted the Dome of the Rock, appearing as a fruit covered in blue skin, emblazoned with a star of David, a Jewish symbol. The picture showed the blue skin being cut and peeled away with a knife — blood dripping down the hand of the peeler as the blade stripped away the peel.
During that month — as a wave of terrorist violence, known as the “knife Intifada,” swept across Israel — Palestinian radicals stabbed and hacked to death scores of Israeli civilians. The violence was sparked and fueled by a fraudulent rumor that Israel intended to desecrate the Al Aqsa Mosque in Jerusalem. That, spread by Palestinian leaders, led directly to the wave of deadly violence against Israelis. The “threat” of “attacks Al Aqsa” has been a pretext for Arab attacks on Jews well before the existence of Israel.
SJP UTK Members - Drawing Inspiration From Advocates of Genocide
On April, 21, 2016, SJP UTK member Ameen Abdel-Khalek retweeted a tweet by the anti-Semitic Islamist leader Yusuf al-Qaradawi.
Al-Qaradawi is the president of the European Council for Fatwa and Research. The Wall Street Journal reported that the council has used the anti-Semitic forgery known as the Protocols of the Elders of Zion in its theological deliberations.
In a January 9, 2009 sermon shown on Al-Jazeera, Qaradawi prayed: “O Allah, take this oppressive, tyrannical band of people. O Allah, take this oppressive, Jewish Zionist band of people. O Allah, do not spare a single one of them. O Allah, count their numbers, and kill them, down to the very last one.”
In a statement that aired on Al-Jazeera TV on 28 January 2009 Al-Qaradawi said:“Throughout history, Allah has imposed upon the Jews people who would punish them for their corruption ... The last punishment was carried out by Hitler...This was divine punishment for them.... Allah Willing, the next time will be at the hand of the believers.”
On March 22, 2016, Abdel-Khalek retweeted a tweet from the Hamas info Twitter account — the official Twitter account of the terrorist organization that read — “When will Hamas give up its armed struggle? Watch this debate b/w Sheikh Yasin and a foreign reporter…”
Sheikh Ahmed Yassin was the co-founder of Hamas. Yassin has been described as the “mastermind of Palestinian terror” and a “mass murderer” behind many suicide bombings against Israeli civilians on buses and in cafes during the Second Intifada.
On January 10, 2003, in an interview with the Muslim website Alskifa, Yassin said “Suicide attacks and jihad reinforce national unity in the ranks....Our voice is one of struggle, of jihad and of suicide...”
On September 10, 2015, Abdalla Husain — the Tayseer Seminary’s liaison to UTK MSA, and member of SJP UTK, tweeted — “I HAVE THE SAME BIRTHDAY AS YASSER ARAFAT!!!!!!!!!!! #PALESTINE #AAAYYWAAAAAAA I am very happy right now ”
Yasser Arafat — the former leader of the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO), is known by some as the “father of modern terrorism.” Under Arafat, the goal of the PLO — explicitly called for in Articles 9 and 10 of its original Charter — was the violent destruction of Israel. Article 20 of the Charter denied the Nationhood of the Jews.
In 1996, in a closed door meeting with Arab diplomats in Stockholm, Arafat said — “We will make life unbearable for Jews by psychological warfare and population explosion. Jews will not want to live among Arabs. I have no use for Jews. They are and remain Jews.”
On February 11, 1980, Arafat said in Venezuela — “Peace for us means the destruction of Israel. We are preparing for an all-out war, a war which will last for generations.”
On November 2, 1970, Arafat said — “The goal of our struggle is the end of Israel, and there can be no compromise or mediation. We don’t want peace; we want victory. Peace for us means Israel’s destruction and nothing else.”
UTK MSA Tayseer Seminary Liaison - Comparing Israel to Nazis
On July 21, 2014, Tayseer Seminary’s liaison to UTK MSA, Abdalla Husain — who serves to link MSA with other community efforts in Knoxville — compared Israel to Nazis, tweeting — “Like father like son. Germany in the 30s and 40s is Israel now.”
SJP UTK - Hosting Anti-Semitic Conspiracy Theorist Alison Weir
On April 18, 2013, SJP UTK hosted a speaking event featuring anti-Israel agitator Alison Weir. Weir is the founder and executive director of the anti-semitic hate site If Americans Knew (IAK) and president of the Israel-demonizing Council for the National Interest (CNI).
On August 8, 2009, Weir wrote an article supporting a blood libel, originally published by a Swedish newspaper — lying that Israeli soldiers kidnapped Palestinians to harvest their organs.
In a 2012 primer, titled “The Top Ten Anti-Israel Groups in America,” The Anti Defamation League (ADL) exposed (p.5-6) Weir’s propagation of numerous anti-Semitic and anti-Israel conspiracy theories. ADL noted that Weir wrote several articles promoting fraudulent claims of organ harvesting by Jews.
Weir was condemned in 2015 by Jewish Voice for Peace (JVP), for being “a repeat guest of white supremacist Clay Douglas on his hate radio show, the Free American” during 2010 and 2011.
SJP UTK - Promoting Terrorist Incitement as “Education”
On November 13, 2014, SJP UTK posted on Facebook a flyer promoting two Palestinian students hosted by SJP UTK as part of Birzeit University’s so-called “Right to Education” tour. In September of 2014, pro-Palestinian Haaretz reporter Amira Hass was thrown off of Birzeit’s campus — because Hass is Jewish.
In 2014, the Right to Education tour deceptively claimed on Tumblr that Israeli efforts to combat incitement to terrorist violence on Palestinian university campuses violated Palestinian rights, stating:“Israeli military systematically obstructs education in the West Bank and Gaza, which violates the human rights of individuals and also impedes the development of Palestinian society.”
Birzeit University’s student body has been ridden with terrorists since at least 2003. The student government race that year featured models of exploding Israeli buses.Hamas-affiliated Islamists won the student council elections at Birzeit in April of 2015.
Birzeit University's Fatah-affiliated students also embrace terror. The Shabiba student group, in December 2015, posted Facebook pictures of themselves beside a Christmas tree adorned with the portraits of terrorist murderers — including one who had recently stabbed four Israeli civilians. The terrorists whose images decorated the Christmas tree were collectively responsible for thousands of murderous attacks against Israelis. Behind the Birzeit students was a sign that proclaimed: “The way to freedom is a bullet and a martyr... a crescent and a cross; Merry Christmas, [Fatah's] Shabiba student movement, Birzeit University.”
In January of 2016, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) swept Birzeit’s campus, seizing Hamas propaganda. The University characterized the sweep as a “belligerent ...attack on the university and our right to education and all the principles involved in the freedom of education."
Another Palestinian university participating in the Right to Education campaign is Al Quds university. Brandeis University terminated its relationship with Al Quds in 2013, after Islamic Jihad held a Nazi-themed demonstration at Al Quds. After Brandeis’ president Lawrence contacted Al-Quds President Sari Nusseibeh and requested that he publish an unequivocal condemnation of the demonstrations. in both Arabic and English, Al Quds’ administration responded by skirting the issue and complaining of “vilification campaigns by Jewish extremists with the purpose of discrediting [the university’s] reputation.”
Yet another terror-supporting Palestinian university participating in the Right to Education initiative is Al Najah University (Al Najah). Al-Najah — the largest Palestinian university in the West Bank — remains notorious for its triumphal exhibit lauding the Sbarro cafe suicide bombing. That bombing specifically targeted religious Jewish patrons and killed 18 people, including 8 children. The blast wounded another 87 people. Al-Najah’s exhibit featured a mock-up of Sbarro’s, including gnawed pizza crusts and bloody plastic body parts suspended from the ceiling, as if they were blasting through the air.
SJP UTK - Comparing Israel to Nazi Germany
On January 16, 2015, SJP UTK retweeted an anti-Semitic tweet that read “Zionism is Terrorism.” The tweet features a photo of a Jewish child held at gunpoint by a Nazi soldier during the Holocaust, next to a photo of a Palestinian child being arrested by the IDF. The caption on the photo read: “They Act Like NaZis, Because They WERE The NaZis.”
“Drawing comparisons of contemporary Israeli policy to that of the Nazis” is considered a contemporary manifestation of anti-Semitism as defined by the U.S. State Department.
SJP UTK - Spreading Libels at Demonstrations
On July 18, 2014, SJP UTK co-hosted a demonstration with UTK MSA, opposing Israel’s Operation Protective Edge (OPE). Israel launched OPE to destroy Hamas attack tunnels and stop Hamas rocket attacks from Gaza targeting Israeli civilians. Hamas increased such rocket attacks dramatically following Israel’s crackdown on Hamas in Judea and Samaria — after a Hamas cell kidnapped and murdered three Israeli high-schoolers on June 12, 2014.
The Facebook announcement for the demonstration deceptively claimed “Israel has targeted homes, HOSPITALS, mosques, and other civilian infrastructure. These crimes must be exposed to the world!”
This deception was compounded by at least two signs featured at the demonstration. One sign read fraudulently: “The USA funds Israel to Bomb Gaza’s hospitals.” A second sign lied: “58 Palestinian Children Murdered by Israel.”
Multiple news sources exposed Hamas’ exploitation of civilian infrastructure and its use of human shields. Additionally, on August 13, 2014, the Palestinian Ambassador to the U.N. Human Rights Council, Ibrahim Khraishi admitted during a live television interview that Hamas had committed a double war crime by launching rockets at Israeli civilians, from densely populated civilian areas in Gaza — including schools, homes, mosques and hospitals — throughout OPE.
SJP
SJP is a student organization engaged in anti-Israel activity on North American college and university campuses.
The first chapter of SJP was founded in 2001 at the University of California at Berkeley by Professor Hatem Bazian. Bazian has spread classic anti-Semitism, reportedly promoted religious anti-Semitism and defended the Hamas terror group. In 2004, Bazian called for “intifada” in America.
SJP organizes anti-Israel campaigns, including running annual Israel Apartheid Weeks, often in collaboration with Jewish Voice for Peace (JVP) and Muslim Students Association (MSA) campus chapters.
SJP has been a major force in pushing the anti-Semitic Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement on campuses. Chapters have initiated dozens of BDS resolutions in student governments, which have been proposed on or around Jewish holidays, a time when many Jewish students are off-campus.
SJP activists have reportedly physically assaulted, intimidated and harassed Jewish students, disrupted pro-Israel campus events and demonized pro-Israel campus organizations.
Chapters have often endorsed and campaigned for numerous terrorists and whitewashed terrorism.
MSA
The MSA was established by members of the Muslim Brotherhood in January 1963 at the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign, with the goal of "spreading Islam as students in North America." A 2004 FBI investigation uncovered an internal Muslim Brotherhood document in which a brotherhood leader identified the MSA as "one of our organizations."
The MSA reportedly has “nearly 600 chapters” located in the United States and Canada, and is “the most visible and influential Islamic student organization in North America,” boasting conferences, special events, publications, websites and other activities.
The organization includes a number of previous chapter presidents with explicit links to terrorist groups. Included are al-Qaeda cleric Anwar al-Awlaki (Colorado State University), Somali al-Shabaab militant leader Omar Shafik Hammami (University of South Alabama) and Pakistani Taliban recruiter Ramy Zamzam of the MSA's Washington, D.C. council.
BDS
The Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement was founded by Omar Barghouti in 2005 to challenge “international support for Israeli apartheid and settler-colonialism.” BDS is an allegedly “Palestinian-led movement,” although leading BDS activists have admitted [00:01:01] this is not true.
One of the demands of BDS includes [point 3] what is generally known as the “right of return,” a demand discredited as a way to eliminate Israel. Barghouti said the “right of return” is a means to “end Israel’s existence as a Jewish state.”
Barghouti has said that BDS “aims to turn Israel into a pariah state, as South Africa once was.”
In his activism, Barghouti has also said [00:05:55] regarding Israel: “Definitely, most definitely, we oppose a Jewish state in any part of Palestine. No…rational Palestinian, not a sellout Palestinian, will ever accept a Jewish state in Palestine.”
The movement has been linked to numerous terrorist organizations and received a public endorsement from Hamas in 2017.
BDS initiatives include calling on institutions and individuals to divest from Israeli-affiliated companies, promoting academic and cultural boycotts of Israel, and organizing anti-Israel rallies, protests and campaigns.
The movement’s most notable achievement has been the infiltration of university campuses through lobbying for “BDS resolutions.” In these cases, student governments and student groups, backed by their own anti-Israel members and affiliates, have proposed resolutions on some form of boycott of, or divestment from, Israel and Israeli-affiliated entities.
Boycott resolutions, although non-binding, have been passed by student governments on numerous North American campuses.
BDS activity is often aggressive and disruptive. It has been noted that universities that pass BDS resolutions see a marked increase in anti-Semitic incidents on campus. On one campus, when the student government debated a BDS resolution, reports emerged of violent threats against those opposing it.
